GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

General Terms

Drive Shack Gift Cards are issued by Drive Shack. Purchase or use of a Gift Card constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

 

Gift Cards

Drive Shack Gift Cards are available for purchase at any Drive Shack location and online. At the purchaser’s option, a Gift Card will be issued as a physical card or virtually, as an “eGift Card”. As used in herein, the term “Gift Cards” includes both physical Gift Cards and eGift Cards.

 

Drive Shack Gift Cards are redeemable at any Drive Shack location and online, including for the purchase of memberships, fast pass purchases, food, beverages, merchandise, BayPlay, private events, reservations, rental time and Drive Shack Academy packages and offerings.  No fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of Gift Cards, other than applicable sales taxes.

 

View Your Balance

All Gift Card balances can be viewed by visiting driveshack.com/gift-cards. If you are a Drive Shack Member and you hold an eGift Card, you may also view your eGift Card balance online by going to your Drive Shack Membership Profile. Purchases made with the card will be deducted from the balance until it reaches $0.00.

 

Returns

You may not return or cancel your Drive Shack Gift Card after it is purchased.

 

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Gift Cards have stored monetary value and should be safeguarded accordingly.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards, and Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen, except to the extent required by law.  Ownership and risk of loss of Gift Cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we issue the Gift Card to the purchaser.

 

Limitations

You may not use a Gift Card to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. Gift Cards will be void if resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law.

Gift Cards are subject to our Privacy Policy. Please visit www.driveshack.com/privacy-policy for a copy of our Privacy Policy.  Please note that any information we collect about you in connection with your purchase of a Gift Card will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

Drive Shack Gift Card Customer Service

If you need assistance with any aspect of your purchase, ownership, or use of a Gift Card, please contact GCsupport@driveshack.com. Please refer to your order number, Gift Card number, and/or be ready to supply your email address.  You may also be requested to provide your billing address and other relevant information for purposes of account verification.

 

Payment Methods 

Drive Shack Gift Cards may be paid for with cash or with a valid VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, or by using Apple Pay or Android Pay.

 

Delivery Information and Requirements for Gift Card Purchasers

All purchases of eGift Cards are subject to a process that compares the purchaser’s information provided at the time of purchase, including billing information, with information about the purchaser provided by the purchaser’s financial institution. If there is a discrepancy, your eGift Card purchase may be delayed until it can be corrected.

 

You may purchase an eGift Card for anyone that has a valid e-mail address.  We are not responsible for eGift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an accurate email address for the recipient. Please check to make sure the address of the recipient is correct and contact GCsupport@driveshack.com if you suspect the recipient did not receive his/her eGift Card.

 

If you have confirmed a recipient's email address but the eGift Card has not been received by the recipient within a reasonable period of time after the requested delivery date, the following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:

 

  1. Recipient’s spam filter blocked the email or routed it to a bulk/spam/junk folder
  2. Recipient’s firewall blocked the email
  3. Recipient’s email inbox is over size limit
  4. An invalid email address was entered for the recipient 

 

If a bulk/spam/junk filter is blocking Drive Shack eGift Cards emails from getting to an inbox, the email options will need to be modified so that Drive Shack eGift Cards emails are not considered bulk/spam/junk.

 

If you need further assistance, contact GCsupport@driveshack.com. Please refer to your order number and/or be ready to supply your email address.  You may also be requested to provide your billing address for purposes of account verification.  

 

Personalized Messaging

If you wish to add a personal message to a Gift Card, simply type your message in the Message field during the purchase process. Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided on the eGift Card, or to the space provided on the presentation carrier of a physical Gift Card. There is no additional charge to include a personalized message. We don’t read every gift message, but if we do find inappropriate, offensive or otherwise objectionable messages, we reserve the right to cancel them. 

 

Gift Card Promotions

Throughout the year, Drive Shack will have Gift Card promotions, which may include sweepstakes, contests, raffles, or other promotions (collectively, “Promotions”). Those specific programs and promotions are subject to program specific terms, conditions and restrictions, which are separate from these Terms & Conditions. If you participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules as well as our Privacy Policy. If the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms & Conditions, the Promotion rules will apply.
