Is parking free at Drive Shack Richmond?

Yes. Our on-site lot has roughly 500 free spaces, so even on a busy Short Pump weekend there’s room for the whole crew.

Where should rideshares drop off?

Have your driver pull right up to the front of the building. There’s no separate rideshare lane, and the main entrance is the easy drop-off.

Is there EV charging on site?

No, there’s no EV charging in our lot at this time.

Can I bring kids to Drive Shack Richmond?

Of course, all ages are welcome. Guests under 18 just need adult supervision while playing, and with the games, kids menu, and Puttery courses, there’s plenty to keep every age swinging.

Do I need to bring ID?

Bring a valid ID if you’re ordering from the bar. Our team also checks ID for groups who appear under 18.

Do I need a reservation at Drive Shack Richmond, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are always welcome for groups under 7, and you can reserve a bay online in advance. Weekends and evenings in Short Pump fill up fast, so booking ahead is the smart move.

I've never golfed. Is that OK?

Completely. None of our games require experience, and TrackMan technology tracks every shot for you, so first-timers and lifelong golfers can share a bay and both have a blast.

How many people fit in one bay?

Up to 6 guests per bay. Bringing 7 or more? Our Richmond events team will set you up across multiple bays or in a private space.

Are golf clubs provided?

Yes, complimentary clubs for men, women, and kids are in every bay, in right- and left-handed options. Have your own clubs? Bring them along.

How does bay pricing work?

Bays rent by the hour, not per person, and up to 6 people share one bay. Current Richmond rates are listed right on this page .

Is Drive Shack Richmond open in winter or when it rains?

Yes, we play year-round. The covered, all-weather bays have heaters that keep even a January night in RVA comfortable, and fans for the summer. Local tip: an evening bay in July is the move.

Am I hitting real golf balls?

Yes, real, standard golf balls, and they’re unlimited with your bay.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Drive Shack Richmond is wheelchair accessible, with elevator access to the upper levels plus accessible parking and restrooms.

Is there mini golf at Drive Shack Richmond?

Yes! Puttery at Drive Shack Richmond has two themed 9-hole courses: the Street Art course indoors and the Garden course outdoors. Play all 18, then settle the score at the bar.

How do I play Puttery? Do I book it separately from a bay?

Puttery is its own experience, priced per person with unlimited rounds. Book online or walk in; the courses occasionally host private events, so booking ahead guarantees your tee time.

Is Puttery kid-friendly?

Very. Kids’ pricing is available, and groups just need at least one adult (18 or older) playing along.

Can I host a party or corporate event at Drive Shack Richmond?

Absolutely. From birthdays to corporate outings for teams from across Henrico County and greater Richmond, our events team handles groups from 7 up to 1,200 with flexible meeting spaces, lounges, and a rooftop terrace.

Can we bring a cake for a celebration?

Yes, store-bought cakes are welcome for special celebrations at no charge. Two quick asks: the cake needs to arrive in its packaging with the ingredients list, and we aren’t able to store or refrigerate it for you, so time the big reveal accordingly.

Is there a restaurant and bar? Do I have to play to eat?

Yes, and not at all. Drive Shack Richmond serves a full chef-inspired menu with bars throughout, and you never have to play to eat or drink. Dine in your bay with Bay Caddy service, in the dining areas, or up on the rooftop.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Outside food and drinks generally aren’t permitted, with two exceptions: store-bought celebration cakes are welcome at no charge (packaged, with the ingredients list), and for special occasions you’re welcome to bring your own bottle of wine with a per-bottle corkage fee.

Is there a kids menu?

Yes, there’s a dedicated kids menu, plus non-alcoholic and zero-proof options at the bar.

Besides golf, what else is there to do?

Between rounds you’ve got two Puttery mini golf courses, the full restaurant and bars, a rooftop terrace and lounge, and 300+ TVs for catching the game. Make a whole night of it.
